In this throwback episode, I revisit my USMC Scout Sniper School Manual and we explore some elements publsihed in 1986. Basic Marksmanship tings from back in the day.
Transitioning from the USMC Scout Sniper talk to one of the Army Instructor manual from 1974. It's interesting to look at how and why things were written back in the day.

A lot of the info disclosed in the old so called "Sniper Training Manuals " is deliberately wrong to prevent any Pscyco to learn it. Also allow intelligence agencies to start follow through on buyers, profiling, links, interests, capabilities, political/religious/ even sexual orientation to probably . It's always safe to drop some "chicken food" on controversial info that could fail in the wrong minds. However the keen or somehow knowledgeable eye will spot the "flaws" keep it to him/he rself and move on without sharing o r arguing about the right stuff. As usual the best on the topic.
