As we come to the close of 2019 I was doing an article on innovation. The article is designed to drop right after SHOT Show, so I was able to get behind the scenes with a few products and companies so I wanted to touch on what I look for in terms of innovation.Mainly this episode talks about bipods, suppressors, and some of the accessories we see creeping up.  The Victor Company stuff, changes to the way we engage targets.  Looking out why we innovate.  You know how the saying goes, innovate or die.
But talking bipods, suppressors and stuff.

Those are the items of interest in this podcast, another area of focus is my bitch about the state of the 338LM.  I think people forcing the 300gr bullet in a 338LM on us ruined the caliber for many because the heavier bullet does not work as advertised, especially with people pushing it so slow.  I give my continued observations on speed overweight again, in my opinion speed wins.    The 338LM should be the ultimate sniping round, but going to the 300gr bullet handicapped it by a wide margin and ruined it for a lot of people. Go back in time and listen to some of my older podcasts on stepping down in bullet weight vs the speed gains. I think you will find speed kills and it works better when you bring the speed back into the equations.  Too many shooters default to the heaviest bullet of the class, they need to revisit that and see what a lighter bullet at increased speeds will do for you. Pretty mellow podcast, hope you enjoy,

Back at it this week, I just shot a short video, did a rear bag lesson and wanted to talk about some lessons learned.We see a lot of different shooters, situations, and equipment when teaching a class. That experience allows us to look at things happening with our precision rifle shooting on a microscopic level.  We really want to breakdown this process into the smallest components possible. 
So with that, we see a lot of rear bag movement which causes some vertical stringing and weird flies with guys because the bag is moving out from under the stock.  Choosing the right rear bag is just as important as choosing the right scope. 
Look at yourself, use your phone to film your technique and really just hyper analyze the process.
We do these podcast episodes for you the listener, and the shooter.  We want you to know the, "why" behind these things we talk about every week.  The why is hte most important aspect of all shooting.  Answer that correctly and the rest falls into place.

I am in LA but wanted to knock out a quick podcast for everyone.  I did a full day at Disney and right now I am getting ready to head to see Jim at Prime Ammo.In this episode, I talk about the levels in our heads, thanks to a post made by Regina M on Snipers Hide. This illustrates in living color how our head works in terms of viewing the reticle through the scope. 
This brings me full circle to talk levels and fundamentals.  I breakdown the prone position again and how our bodies respond to different elements of our shooting. I think this short but powerful episode will resonate with a lot of new shooters, and some open-minded older

So I have absolutely nothing to say today, and I am just uploading a podcast because that is what I am supposed to do. This creates a dynamic and often volatile situation where I rant about stuff that pisses me off.  So with that in mind, I drop quite a few F-bombs in this episode.  
I was home yesterday on Sniper's Hide and again I was lectured about my opinion of a competition that was posted in the forum.  Don't lecture me on my own website, if you don't like my opinion, go away.  I did not invite myself to your house, you came to mine. 
Otherwise, I don't say a lot in this episode, I am just venting about random bs.
