The Everyday Sniper Episode 139 Weird Days, Rifle Set Up
Welcome to the Everyday Sniper Podcast, just Frank in this episode, and I am getting back into the saddle of talking Precision Rifle. In this episode, I go over rifle set up and continue the discussion started by Philip V and myself from the last episode. I put up two online training lessons up in the forum regarding rifle set up with a bit more focus on how the stock controls scope set up.
It's an odd week for me, I have some travel happening, and just coming off the interview podcasts it feels weird to me.
But I appreciate everyone commenting, sharing and being a part of the Everyday Sniper.

Relistened. Took about an hour to set up the new MDT stock. Paid off on the range.

I don't feel that having stocks/chassis come with a shorter length of pull only applies to small frame shooters. I am just over 6 feet tall and with my MasterPiece arms chassis I have the butt pad on the closest setting and with the fat pad in the nook of my elbow and my trigger finger at 90 degrees its just about perfect. About to get correct eye relief on my nightforce shv I have to have it mounted as far back as possible. I have a body frame differ some reason my bottom half my body is long but the top half isn't as well so adjustability is kind of funky for me. Has a kid even though I wasn't that small I had a hell of a time with wood stock rifles and the old cheap Weaver rings being able to achieve good eye relief.
