The Everyday Sniper Episode 196 Communicate, Move, Shoot
Thanks for listening and subscribing to the Everyday Sniper Podcast. In this episode we talk, Communication, Movement and Shooting.
Sort of an end of the competition season discussion. We need to communicate before the stage, or even during with a teammate. Then we need to move forward to build our position and finally shoot our targets. So I am taking the Shoot Move Communicate mantra and turning it around in a more logical order of things.
I was working with two guys from California this week who are attending the local Competition Dynamics Team event and getting them spun required them to looking at the match in a different way. They shot it before but with very little prep work, so putting in that extra work required this type of discussion.
Thanks for listening, commenting and being a part of the Podcast.
Hope you enjoy

Any other apps that can do the scope error calculation?

Like the idea of using coins to denote mils. Going to give that a try.

I have all Nightforce scopes with my zero stops set hard at my 100 yard zero. What's the benefit of having .5 under? I also have bubbles on most all my guns. The only time I use them is when I feel something is not right. For example prairie dog shooting prone, feet above my head, shooting into unlevel land scape. I guess it helps me quiet the voices. Thanks for all your time, love the cast.

One day you’re talking about making garlic chicken. Now you’re talking about Pie.

Ok Frank help me out here. What was Daniel Defense thinking with that bolt gun of theirs? Too expensive for the production class but using a hammer forged barrel...? And what are the benefits supposedly be with hammer forging? I thought it was just the cheapest least labor intensive way to make a mass produced barrel...? Big Thanks

Frank.... it's WTF! You are the coach most shooters will never have. What you do is not about the PRS or NRL or 3Gun or F-Class. Most gun owners will never compete in any gun competition. Local let alone at a national level. These guys that do their shooting as a job, have big money sponsors, that's great. Great for them. The other 95% of us gun enthusiasts just love our guns, love to hunt, love to ring steel, or just go out and have fun with the family. Teaching our kids to shoot just like our dads may have taught us. For some you my be the closest person they can call their shooting coach. WTF. And Sniper's Hide.😎
