The Everyday Sniper Episode 205 JP Rifles, Adam and Team Safari
I am down in New Mexico at the Blue Steel Ranch shooting the Competition Dynamics Team Safari Match with Adam Burt GM of JP Rifles
This was a last-minute addition to my weekend. I have never shot a CD Match beyond the early Sniper's Hide Matches they hosted for me. So this is a fulfillment of a bucket list match. The nice thing with a CD match is blind stages, under field course conditions.
We paired up and are having a blast shooting this event.
I am having great results shooting the 224 Valkyrie in my JP and Adam is shooting their version of a bolt rifle built off their APAC Chassis an Ultimatum action in 6.5PRC. The rifles are shooting great and we are having a straight-up blast here.
Thanks to CD for an awesome event, thanks to Adam for inviting me and thanks to JP for making a kick-ass stick to launch my 88gr love pills downrange.
Don't forget to comment, and to share the podcast. Cheers,

I tried a Traust rear bag with the Get Lite fill and love it! It's between the lite and heavy as far as weight but gives the foundational feel of the heavy. Just throwing it out there. The bag talk got me thinking about it. Cheers

Tarantulas can jump. We don’t want another Billy Batts incident, like the rattle snake.

Hey Frank! Just started listening to your Podcast and loving it. I've learned a lot via your YouTube and the forum. I've been seriously considering a gasser in a 14.5" Grendel but with a left hand gain twist for that extra bit of velocity. Could you consider a more detailed podcast talking about gain twist? You've got into it a bit but maybe a full episode? I'm trying to have a more maneuverable RECCE style brush gun vs my 20" Grendel

Great podcast. Sounded like a fun match. Would be nice to see a video production of the match to get a better how it's done.

Frank, can you talk about target size and what range should they be placed? Newbie at long range or am I over thinking this? Keep up the good work. 😎👍🏼
