The Everyday Sniper Episode 230 Marc Taylor AK Banquet
Up in Alaska for the weekend, attending the Alaska Precision Rifle Banquet put on by Marc Taylor for the shooting community up here. We all stayed at the Captain Cook Hotel and the banquet was held on the Quarter Deck.
Food was excellent, the company was outstanding, the drinks flowed and the stories were funny as hell.
Near the end of the podcast, we talk about some lessons learned from the previous years and where we like to see things moving forward. We are always adapting to the needs of our future shooters.
I want to thank the 65 shooters for attending with their wives and girlfriends and introducing them to our little circle of trust.

Excellent banquet, great folks, food, entertainment and setting. Enjoyed myself at the “freak” table. Hell ya Marcs an MC, a shot caller. He’s in his element rallying shooters, directing fun. Binged podcasts during the road trip. Nose rings intrigued me, also targets. I like diamonds. 4 points and a center to aim. 22’s come up into long range is interesting! Got a vudoo on the way! Never knew you had so many nicknames but “diamond” could be part of your match pseudonym!

So tired of guys sending a 1/2 box of rounds at a target and thinking they accomplished something by getting a hit afterward. This past weekend I had my monthly 22LR match. Had a guy who always says, “Well, if I had a $2000 rifle I could hit it in one shot, too.” Really!! So why did it take you 17 rounds to hit a 227y target with your rifle. The same rifle I used and got the hit it in 3. Some people are just too proud to accept new and better ways of doing things. Great podcast. Keep up the great work.
