An often-repeated question I was getting in the Podbean App has focused on Barrel contours.  I was gonna answer this question several times and get into the heat and weight discussion but decided to reach out to Bartlein Barrels and ask Frank Green to come on the podcast.

I think this entry episode with Frank is a master class on discussing the various pro and cons of barrel features and options.  Frank breaks down the concepts in an easy to understand format. 

We start out talking contours, that is the main focus of the conversation.  We get into twist rates, which brings us to Gain Twist barrels.  The experience over several years of Bartlein doing the Gain Twist for many different shooting disciplines.
